Grade 9 Spring!
As this is possibly your final Explore trip, there are higher expectations for your menu planning and cooking! You (with some help from your parents) are responsible for planning and buying food, as well as cooking and eating with your group. You are provided with a camp stove and one pot to cook with (two pots and stoves if you are a group of four) while camping, you are responsible to bring your own mug, bowl and cutlery!

- Cooking 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners over a camp stove while winter camping
- Preparing 3 cold lunches to be prepared and eaten outside
- Bringing enough snacks to last 4 days
- Bringing $ for 1 lunch on Friday for the ferry ride home
All dinners and breakfasts will be cooked outside on a camp stove. All lunches are COLD and will be eaten on the trail. It is CRITICAL to your happiness that you plan meals you know how to prepare. We highly recommend you practice cooking your meals at home, ensuring you understand how to follow the directions. It is also CRITICAL to your cooking success that you measure & repackage your food making sure that you do not over or under pack.
